1. License
Your Summon purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Summon macOS application. A subscription license lasts for the duration of your active subscription. A lifetime license does not expire. Weekly subscriptions may be activated on 1 device; yearly subscriptions and lifetime licenses on up to 3 devices simultaneously.
2. Plans and billing
Summon is available as a weekly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. A lifetime license is a single payment and includes future updates. Billing is handled by Polar; their terms apply to payment processing.
3. Trial
A 72-hour free trial is available after starting a weekly or yearly subscription. Lifetime licenses do not include a trial. The trial provides full access before billing begins. Trial resets may be requested via support at any time.
4. Refunds
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your original purchase. Contact hello@usesummon.com with your order details.
5. BYOK
Summon requires your own API key for the provider you use, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or xAI. You are responsible for all usage costs associated with that key. Summon is not responsible for third-party API charges.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Summon to generate content that is illegal, abusive, or in violation of your AI provider's usage policies.
7. Warranty and liability
Summon is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Summon's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
